General Overview		Lilith or Lily as she prefers to be called, is rational, highly intelligent, forward-thinking, and innovative. It can be said that she is an introvert. She prefers calm environments, limits her social engagements, and embraces greater than average solitude. She is cool and analytical in her attitude towards life. Her analytical attitude towards life has given her insight into herself. She knows that she can get lost in work, especially her scientific studies; she therefore sets her antique Rolex GMT Master wristwatch, a family heirloom passed down to the first-born child of each generation since 1954, so that she eats on time, exercises and sets aside a social interaction. She does this to prevent herself from getting lost in her work.

She uses the antique Rolex GMT Master wristwatch to assist with her regimented life; eat each meal in the mess hall and at least attempt to interact with fellow crew on her off time, and to sleep, usually with the help of her virtual reality headset. She has learned this helps her focus and not get lost in her work.

Pre Earth Starfleet History		Lilith “Lily” Hiwalani Magnum was born in Queen’s Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii to Thomas Sullivan Magnum and Kaniehtiio Magnum September 12, 2020. She is of mixed heritage; her father, Thomas being Irish, and her mother being Native Hawaiian (Kānaka Maoli). For the first five years of her life, she spent time with her mother on the family estate in Honolulu, with her father in an out because of his duties in the MACO. When she was just three years of age, her mother was promoted to the head of the Space Science department at the UESPA. While this was a big break for her mother, the position would require her and her family to live on Pluto Station. So, the family packed up some of their belongings, though Lilith did not understand why she couldn’t take all her toys and clothes. Lilith was fascinated with her first space flight and was even more awe struck to learn she would be living in space on a space station. Lilith was shocked at how small her room was and how small a space their family lived in. She was put into a preparatory preschool program to prepare her for entry into the private college preparatory, ‘Iolani School; to which both her mother and father had attended in their youth. Lilith thrived in preschool and adapted to her new home. On her fourth birthday, she learned she would become a big sister. She and her family took another shuttle flight back to Earth on April 12, 2124, for her mother to give birth to her sister and for her to get ready for private college preparatory, ‘Iolani School. Her mother gave birth to her sister, Adrianna Valencia Magnum, on May 24, 2124. Lilith got to spend some time reacquainting with her aunt Alexandrea Kawisenhawe Calvin and her uncle Trevor D. Magnum. She also explored the family's estate. Her aunt Alexandrea is the Upper School Chinese Language Teacher at the ‘Iolani School. Lilith learned she would be staying with her aunt at the family estate and attending ‘Iolani School. She was informed her mother and sister were returning to Pluto Station and her father was on an assignment with MACO, as her mother put it ‘God knows where’. Lilith bid her mother a sad farewell and prepared for the next step of journey in life. On August 27, 2125, Lilith began her formal education. She started kindergarten at ‘Iolani School’s Lower School. The school was as tough as one could find, and kindergarten was demanding. She was heavily immersed in the Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science curriculum. She excelled in the science curriculum, which was heavy on the basics of physical science, life science, earth and space science as well as engineering design. By third grade Lilith was well grounded in the basics of the subjects, and it was recommended by her teachers and advisor to be placed in accelerated science curriculum. She would remain in the standard lower school curriculum for the other subjects. While attending school and her stay away from her immediate family a tradition was started; the family always gathered on Holidays, Birthdays, and Anniversaries. Here advancement to fourth grade was one such occasion. The family all gathered around the day before her classes were to begin and celebrate this small milestone; her parents were especially pleased with the reports they had received on her progress. The next day, Lilith began her classes with renewed vigor. She had accelerated classes in the science curriculum, attended Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies appropriately and add to her already busy schedule was Performing Arts, and Special courses in Dance, Music, Religion, Design & Technology, Art, Physical Education, and Library. She was again in the top five percent of her class and was in the top one percent of her class in the science curriculum. When the sixth grade came around, she began participation in the Advisory Program. To best guide her education to meet future goals. The family again met and celebrated her success and her graduation from the Lower School at ‘Iolani School and her advancement to the Upper School at ‘Iolani School. Lilith was doubly excited as the whole family would spend the entire summer with her until she had to return to school. Upon her return to ‘Iolani School, it was decided she would become a boarding student for the Upper School (Grades 7 to 12). She again was an exceptional student, with math and science seeming to come to her second nature. While attending school she participated in the kayaking team, swim team, and water polo team. Lilly won the HMSA Kaimana Award as a senior for excellence in academics, athletics, community service, healthy activities and sportsmanship. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, barely being beaten out by another student who had a higher grade in religious studies. Upon graduation Lilith had an CEFR language levels in several languages: C2 in both English and Hawaiian, C1 in Latin, B2 in American Sign Language and Hawaiian Sign Language. She was also only six semester hours from associate degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science. She enrolled at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. For five years she studied and walked away with two bachelor of science degrees: Astronomy and Earth & Planetary Science. She also earned two master of science degrees: Computer Science, Data Science and Mathematics, Computational Science. She again graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was recruited by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to their swim team. At the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign she studied and earned her first Ph.D.: Information Science. She studied hard at the university for two years before she graduated. During that time, she won the Honda Cup. Upon graduation Lily joined her lover and moved with her to Melbourne, Florida to attend Florida Tech. At Florida Tech Lily was fully occupied and engrossed in her studies. For four years she studied hard, to the detriment of her relationship. By the end of four years, she graduated Suma cum laude with a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and a Master of Science in Space Science. Unfortunately, her girlfriend and her separated ways, her lover unable to reconcile the drive and passion Lilith had studying. Upon graduation, she was approached by Commodore Karden to join Starfleet. Even though Lilith was 27 years old, Commodore Karden assured her that Lilith could join Starfleet if she chose. Lilith agreed. At the age of 27 Lilith H. Magnum began her studies as a first-year cadet in Starfleet. She had the advantage of already being a seasoned student, with multiple degrees. She was, however, like everyone else when it came to learning Basic Space member apprenticeship skills. It was a grueling four years, not academically for Lilith, but the basic and advanced skills to be a member on a spaceship were the challenge. Lilly loved every second of it though. She took a relatively light academic course load, as she already had several degrees. She took up amateur horticulture and became a member of the American Horticultural Society. After four years of Starfleet training and education, she graduated with two bachelor of science degrees: Atmospheric Science & Meteorology, and Exo-Oceanography. She also graduated with two associate of science degrees: Botany and Chemistry. She graduated Cum Laude and received her orders to report to Ka'ena Point UESPA Station. At Ka'ena Point UESPA Station, Lilith was assigned to the Pioneer Pathway project. An attempt to improve Earth’s astronavigation abilities. The team she was on was mapping all the known Pulsar stars as well as all the Andorian and Vulcan subspace beacons to better see if they could improve astrogation for Starfleet, and by extension Earth Cargo Service. Lilith job was to work in archival retrieval and assist the astronavigation science team in plotting all the known Pulsar stars along with all known subspace beacons in relation to the Sagittarius A, the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way. The astrogation map was slowly growing and becoming more accurate by the day. Accuracy was such that one could now navigate a starship within known Earth space without the use of any navigational beacons if need arose. The team was immensely pleased with the results so far. Lilith also had a new girlfriend and had developed a better system to cope with her hyper focus on work. . Life was going well for her. Then four years into her duty she was approached by Rear Admiral Melendez. With a new assignment if she wanted it, and Lilith got the distinct impression it would be her only offer, a position on the NX-05 Atlantis. Lilith jumped at the chance, after all that was why she had joined Starfleet, for the chance to explore.
