Pre Earth Starfleet History		Noiram Hawkes is a veteran former United States Navy pilot who spent his career protecting national interests against piracy and hostile threats. During his final tour aboard the USS George W. Bush, he cemented his legacy by intercepting a nuclear-tipped hypersonic missile, single-handedly preventing a catastrophic strike against his carrier battle group. Upon returning home, Noiram was hailed as a hero, though he viewed his actions as nothing more than his duty. He transitioned into the private sector, applying his expertise to the aerospace and weapons industries. Driven by the dawn of Earth’s FTL-capable era, he leveraged his background as a test pilot to join the fledgling program five years later. His life changed irrevocably during a test flight of an experimental long-endurance Warp 2 vessel, where a critical nacelle failure propelled his craft into a wormhole. Stranded in deep space for several months, he was eventually rescued by a passing cargo ship. Recognizing that his former life was beyond reach, Noiram dedicated himself to studying Earth’s history and began working as a weapons design contractor for the newly formed Starfleet in 2150. In 2153, following the unprovoked Xindi attack on Earth, Noiram felt the call to serve once more. He volunteered for Starfleet, completing intensive weapons and officer training. In 2155, he was commissioned to serve aboard the USS Atlantis (NX-05).
