| Personal History | Ethal was born in 2129 in Cornwall, United Kingdom of Great Britain, Earth. Her patents Connor and Heather were both Biologists and she grew up being taken on research missions and spending time out in the wilderness. Ethal grew up not really having friends as she could not see the point of it. In 2138 Ethal’s sister was born. This changed Ethal’s life completely as she now had to share her life with a sibling and never really got over it. When at school she excelled in the sciences but also found a love for taking tech apart and studying how it worked - much to the dismay of her teachers when they would find parts of their classroom disassembled. Ethal ended her school life with high grades and moved on to higher education to become a scientist like her parents. In this time she was hearing news of the NX project and how quickly it was evolving and breaking new records of speed for human space travel. Ethal made a decision late one night that she did not want to stop being a scientist but she also wanted to be out there is the stars to see and experience what was out there. Over the next few years she finished her studies and as soon as she had the chance she signed up and joined starfleets new science program in 2149. Ethal graduated from starfleet academy in 2153 with great recommendations from her teachers looking for her first real assignment on a starship. With her recommendations, she was assigned to the newly constructed SS intrepid as a science officer. Over the next couple of years, she assisted her crew as best as she could through the Xindi crisis. She never thought that so much would happen in her first assignment but she was better because of it. Now she looks onto her next assignment to continue her career and her dreams. |
