"I must congratulate you Corporal, I honestly never thought you'd walk again, but here you are." Commander Alison Jennings said with a smile.

"Ma'am, I'd like to return to duty with my detachment."

It was at that moment that the lone MACO officer in the room, the youngest of Minna's three older sisters spoke for the first time. "That unit has been disbanded, but I think I have something even better. "Lieutenant Colonel Nami Chang said with a smile. "You were there on the Xindi weapon, and fleet has a ship going back to Xindi space. I believe you've worked with Major King and Gunny Rhodes before?"

Was it possible? While it wouldn't be the old detachment under the late Major Hayes, it was the next best thing. King was a solid officer and Rhodes was experienced at keeping discipline within the ranks. They both knew Minna's abilities well, which included the current marksmanship record at 29 palms for a "head shot" at 3,440 meters, a full 225 meters beyond the previous record-holder.

"Yes Ma'am, I certainly have."

"Very well then, you are hereby reinstated to active duty and promoted to the rank fo sergeant. A transport will take you to meet up with the Atlantis at 1600" LTC Chang said with a smile.

Minna smiled. "Time for lunch, 누님 (Nunim)?" Minna switched to the honorific Korean term for "Older Sister".

"그러자 (of course)" the 3-years-older woman replied.
