Beth glanced back and Aurelius as drifted back off to sleep and head to the Doctor's office knocking on the open door. "Morning Doctor." The woman greeted without a moment's hesitation. "Your nurse has checked Davis over but he has drifted back off to sleep." The woman said by way of to make conversation before she rolled into what she really wanted to say.

"I would hope so." Min stated, eyes on the medical charts in front of her for a short moment, before she turned her attention to Beth. "He is going to need a great deal of rest. A great deal more than I think even he's willing to acquiesce to." She paused, looking the woman up and down. "Is there something I can do for you, Commander?"

Beth nodded, she had seen the man's chart when she had explained to him what was going on. It was her duty as his Officer in Charge to do it, and she owned him that much. "Yes and No. I need to get my stimulant prescription." The woman said. She did not like using stimulants but it was needed.

"Well, that's unfortunate." Min swiftly shut down the chart, crossing her arms over her chest as she thought. "I had a nurse just tell me our stim supply was running low. I think I have enough for your prescription, but until we can figure the resources to make more, it may be all I can give for the moment."

"Then I will just have to take what I can get at the moment." Beth was under no illusion that she could run on stimulants indefinitely but she needed to just get through the next few days and find food to continue on and things would be normal.

Min gave a silent nod, pausing to mull a thought before calling up another set of files. "What happened to the good old days where people ran on coffee and life-threatening taurine? I'm sure about half the ship would kill for a cup of coffee right now."

"I know I would or a few hours longer in bed." Beth murmured partly to herself. She felt like she was a naughty schoolgirl waiting for the headmaster to approve something. She could have pulled rank but the woman was known to push back and this quickly into an incident they needed to be nice to each other.

"We have just enough to give you one dose, until we can find resources to create more." Min stated plainly. "I may have to confer with the science wing to make sure we create a safer means of keeping everyone upright, but it is something to think about." It was a wonder there were not more people busting down the door. "It'll be a self-administered stim, so once I can dig it out of our stores, I'll let you be the judge of when you want to take it."

Min moved from the console she was reading, to a large crate that was nearby. The crate was full of medical odds and ends that had yet to be unpacked. She began to root through the container, before she decided to add a continued medical thought. "Though I will also highly recommend sleep. You have plenty enough on your plate. A two hour nap will not harm a soul."

"Maybe but at this stage that is not an option," Beth said almost sadly as she watched the doctor look through the cabinet. She had a sudden thought that they needed to secure sickbay a lot better instead of crates and stuff. Things needed to change from how they ran things. "I am sure science will love the conversation. Conway is always looking for new and interesting experiments."

"Sleep is always an option. At least for a few minutes. It promotes healing and gives your brain a break." Min had no intention of leaving the topic, but she knew the Captain would be just as stubborn. It did not take long for her to find a vial of the stim they were after, and she set about preparing a hypo as she continued. "I'll have to talk to her when I can dig myself out of all this work here. I suppose eventually we'll all have a moment where we can regroup, instead of think solely on our own survival. As serious as the matter is, if we are going to be away as long as we think we are, we might as well make the best of it, right?"

"When we get to a point where that is a possibility I assure you I will. But until then I will be on call and running this vessel." It was what Leah would have wanted and what the crew needed from her at the moment. She needed to be the best Commanding Officer she knew how to be and that was by following the example of Leah. The crew knew that approach, it was hard enough without more changes.

Min took a look at the woman. What was it with captains and their desire to continue to perform when they were not at their peak? "Well, you may not have much choice," she stated plainly, handing the completed hypo to Beth. "Because this is the last I can provide for you for the foreseeable future. And without a steady source of caffeine, I imagine your body with revolt at one point or another." She gave pause, turning to make a note on the nearby console. "... You should be all set with this, Captain. Is there anything else I can do?"

"Not unless you have any issues Min? You have been looking after everyone and I bet no one has asked how you are doing with everything?" Beth wondered taking the hypo putting it in her pocket to use when she was on her last legs. "

"Me?" Min quirked her brow. "I have no concerns that I have not already brought up. You needn't worry yourself about me." She rested a hand on Beth's shoulder. "Captain, I'm a doctor. If I didn't know how to take care of myself under such conditions, I would not be here right now."

"It is still Commander but this situation good not have been planned or prepared for in the slightest so it is the done thing to ask how everyone is." Beth said with a nod at the other woman. It wasn't the place to talk if the woman did not want to but she hoped at least Min knew her door was open. "I have to go." Beth mused thoughtfully.

"Commander in rank, Captain in position." Min pointed out with a chuckle. "Of course. You're a busy woman."

Beth said nothing as she left the med bay. She just wished people would accept that she did not want to be stepping on Leah's toes quite so quickly. It felt like bad luck to her.
